Iyotetsu

Iyo Rail Co. Ltd (or Iyotetsu Kabushiki Gaisha) is the main transit operator in Matsuyama. You won’t miss the orange coloured trains, trams or buses. Trams run around the castle and many of the attractions and cost 180 yen per ride. The JR pass are not useable but transit cards such as Suica/Pasmo should work. There are also day passes and multi transit passes available that can be bought through the ‘Norikae-Annai’ app or a physical version can be bought at various locations in the city.
